The next performance of Middlesex Community College’s Spring 2023 “A World of Music” concert series will feature new faculty member Jeannette Lee. The performance will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 at MCC’s Concert Hall in Bedford. All of MCC’s “A World of Music” concerts are free and open to the public. MCC’s Concert Hall is located in Henderson Hall at 591 Springs Road in Bedford. Parking is available on-campus.

Acceptable material includes: Leaves, pine needles, grass clippings Garden trimmings and weeds Tree material up to one inch (one inch) in diameter. Place yard waste in paper yard waste bags or open barrels that are clearly marked “yard waste.” Avoid using old rectangular recycling bins for yard waste as these can be difficult for the drivers to identify. Yard waste in plastic bags will be left behind.

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group is pleased to host Judy Robinson-Cox for a virtual presentation titled Lilliputian Landscapes. These are photographs and assemblages of playful tableaus from food, found objects and tiny plastic figures that transport the viewer to a fanciful, cheerful world devoid of pestilence, hatred and pollution. Domestic Violence Services Network is a vital member of our community here in Bedford and beyond. We are returning to our annual in-person fundraiser this year, and couldn't be more excited! During COVID lockdowns, people financially supported our work and we were able to pivot quickly to meet the needs of our clients. Without having to write a grant or ask for specific funding, we started online support groups because in-person groups shut down, and created a community of survivors who are lifting each other up every single day.
