On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group is pleased to host Judy Robinson-Cox for a virtual presentation titled Lilliputian Landscapes.  These are photographs and assemblages of playful tableaus from food, found objects and tiny plastic figures that transport the viewer to a fanciful, cheerful world devoid of pestilence, hatred and pollution. Working with scale and space, Judy constructs the miniature worlds in front of the camera, then photographs and prints them without digital manipulation.

Judy holds a BFA, from the University of Connecticut where she attended workshops with Jerry Uelsmann and Paul Caponigro.  She continued her education with classes at the Philadelphia College of Art, Montserrat College of Art and the Griffin Museum’s Photography Atelier program. After a long professional career in graphic arts, Judy is primarily focused on fine art photography, mixed media and painting.

Represented by Square Circle Gallery in Rockport, Judy’s work is in the permanent collection of New England Biolabs in Ipswich, MA and the Culinary Arts Museum at Johnson & Wales University and many private collections in the United States and Europe. She is active in various Massachusetts arts organizations including the Rocky Neck Art Colony and the Marblehead, Newburyport, and Rockport Art Associations.
