Rise Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organization, is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies. With locations across the U.S. and five international offices, the organization provides immediate nourishment for those facing hunger today and implements sustainable solutions that will lift entire communities for years to come. Rise Against Hunger has facilitated volunteer meal packaging of more than 540 million meals to be distributed to countries around the world. Domestic Violence Services Network is a vital member of our community here in Bedford and beyond. We are returning to our annual in-person fundraiser this year, and couldn't be more excited! During COVID lockdowns, people financially supported our work and we were able to pivot quickly to meet the needs of our clients. Without having to write a grant or ask for specific funding, we started online support groups because in-person groups shut down, and created a community of survivors who are lifting each other up every single day. Rock Voices Concert

Rock Voices will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 in the John Glenn Middle School auditorium. Rock Voices is the community choir that only sings rock music. They'll present a concert of rock favorites from Frankie Valli, Three Dog Night, Justin Timberlake, Fleetwood Mac, Indigo Girls, Crosby Stills & Nash, Janis Joplin, Hall & Oates, and more, backed up by a live rock band. There will also be a raffle in support of CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars.
