BCS Photo Group: Emily Belz “Shadows”

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group will welcome Emily Belz for a virtual evening of members’ Image Sharing. The topic is Shadows.  Emily is an independent photographer, educator, and curator based in Lincoln, MA. Her photographs focus on domestic still lifes, telling stories through the traces, objects, and slants of light that have been left behind. Emily has exhibited her photographs widely in both solo and group exhibitions at venues including the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Center for Fine Art Photography, the Danforth Museum, and the Newport Art Museum. BCA: “Lilliputian Landscapes” with Judy Robinson-Cox

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 7 pm the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group is pleased to host Judy Robinson-Cox for a virtual presentation titled Lilliputian Landscapes.  These are photographs and assemblages of playful tableaus from food, found objects and tiny plastic figures that transport the viewer to a fanciful, cheerful world devoid of pestilence, hatred and pollution. BCA: My Five Images to Share

BFPL/BCA Photo Group Exhibit: The Photographer’s Eye

Bedford Free Public Library 7 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA

The Bedford Free Public Library will host an exhibit of the work of 24 members of the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group.  The exhibit, juried by co-owner and director of Gallery Twist in Lexington, Gillian Ross, and entitled The Photographer's Eye, showcases the range of photographic styles represented in the Group.  The show will open on Thursday, November 9, 2023 and close on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.  Plan to stop by the Library to check out the exhibit.
