The Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group will launch its 2023-2024 season with a presentation by highly respected educator in photography and digital imaging, Tim Grey. Tim offers clear guidance on complex subjects through his writing and speaking. His topic for this Zoom presentation on Tuesday, September 12 at 7pm will be Backup Strategy.
As photographers our photos are obviously important to us. But are you doing your best to keep your photos safe? Would a hard drive failure represent a devastating loss, or just a minor inconvenience? During his presentation, Tim will share tips and techniques to help you create a backup workflow that will keep your photos safe. With a strong workflow in place you’ll have the confidence of knowing you can easily recover from a hard drive failure or other data loss, without losing a single photo. Tim will also address questions from attendees during the presentation.
Tim has written 18 books on a variety of subjects related to photography, has published over 200 training courses, and has hundreds of articles published in magazines such as Digital Photo Pro and Outdoor Photographer.
For more than 20 years Tim has been answering questions from photographers in his daily Ask Tim Grey eNewsletter. He teaches through hands-on workshops and presents at a variety of events around the world. You can learn more about Tim’s various projects at timgreyphoto.com.
