To conclude Earth Day activities, St. Paul's Episcopal Church and First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church are co-hosting a film screening and discussion of the documentary Youth v Gov which follows the ground-breaking lawsuit brought by 21 young people, Juliana vs United States.  The lawsuit accuses the federal government of violating their constitutional rights by first ignoring the dangers of climate change and then failing to take strong action to mitigate it.  This in-person event will be held at St. Paul's Church, 100 Pinehill Road, Bedford, from 6-8:30pm. The film is directed toward high schoolers and above, but all ages are welcome. 

The Middlesex Community College Theatre Department will present “The Rocky Horror Show” in five performances at MCC’s Richard and Nancy Donahue Family Academic Arts Center. Curtain times are 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, Friday, April 29 and Saturday April, 30; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 1. Bedford’s First Congregational Church, 25 Great Road, will host its Spring Rummage Sale on two days this year: 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 29; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Admission is free and a $1 donation at the door will benefit the Bedford Food Bank. This year’s Rummage Sale will feature a wide variety of white elephants, books, puzzles, household goods and small appliances, sports equipment, children’s toys and games, and costume jewelry. The family of Marion James Bryan, long-time Bedford resident and substitute teacher at the Bedford Public School System, would like to invite all who knew her to come celebrate her life on Saturday, April 30th 2022, from 2pm to 5pm. Marion was taken from us on December 6, 2021, far too soon and toward the end of pandemic lock-down. Because there were COVID restrictions on public gatherings at the time of her death, we decided to put off her memorial service until after things had eased up and the weather was better.
