University of Connecticut geologist and author Robert Thorson will join the Bedford Historical Society and its co-sponsor, the Bedford Garden Club, and the public in the video streaming presentation on The History of New England’s Stone Walls. He will examine several images of these special Northeast treasurers and show what local “wall-watchers” might see that “bird-watchers” might not. The event is free and open to the public. The Town of Bedford operates a drive thru Food Bank service every Thursday, 4:00PM to 5:30PM at 12 Mudge Way, the Yellow Building (rear parking lot). In addition to pantry staples, we provide produce, meat, dairy products as well as feminine care, diapers, household items and pet food. The Bedford Food Bank service is intended for Bedford residents of all ages for whom provision of food and other supplies will support the health and well-being of the household. On Friday, March 31st from 7-9pm, in the BHS auditorium, the Class of 2024 will be hosting a staff and student variety and talent show. “BHS‘s Got Talent” will feature a myriad of acts, music and some fun surprises! The show is open to the whole community and costs $7 for adults and $5 for students. Come in join in the fun!
