Spring is Coming, Which Means Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball Season is Approaching

Registration for the spring Bedford Baseball and Softball seasons is open.  

Bedford Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball welcomes all Bedford and Hanscom AFB kids interested in playing baseball or softball this spring.  

BBRBS runs programs beginning with T-ball for kindergarteners up through high school leagues. Player and volunteer signups can be found at http://www.bedfordbaseballsoftball.com.

Games and practices for most leagues, which primarily are played on weekday evenings, are held in Bedford. 

The spring season begins April 22 (the week after April vacation) and runs through mid-June.

For kids in third grade and up, player evaluations are held for the purposes of making balanced teams. Everyone is welcome to take part and everyone makes a team. Player evaluations will be held on Saturday, March 23 at The Edge in Bedford.

Want to get in a little pre-season practice? Winter training for baseball and softball is ongoing and registrations are still being accepted for players for grades two and up. Winter training is held on Friday evenings with a fee of $50 for the entire winter session; come to as many sessions as you’d like. In addition to baseball and softball games, BBRBS is planning all sorts of fun, social activities for the spring, including Player Appreciation Day and an outing to the WooSox. Come on out and join the fun socializing with friends and neighbors this spring.
