JOB LANE FARM MUSEUM FAMILY FIELD DAY. Step back in time for a delightful afternoon of family fun at Bedford’s colonial Job Lane Farm Museum! Take a tour of the house and barn. Watch a demonstration by a Minuteman Company. Learn about colonial trades and crafts. Get up close to farm animals at Farmer’s Helpers petting zoo; play with stilts, rolling hoops, and other old-time toys and games. Help make hand-cranked ice cream (and enjoy some Bedford Farms ice cream afterward). Go on a scavenger hunt. Hear a talk about herbs in our herb garden. Help operate a cider press. Dip a candle. Watch a blacksmith at work. Enjoy live music by Katie Dobbins. Bring your own picnic to enjoy on the grounds. Sunday, August 27, 1PM to 4PM. Rain date September 10.
