Friends of the Job Lane House Annual Meeting Scheduled for March 24   At the Job Lane Farm Museum, the 2024 season is starting and the Friends are look forward to the many activities planned to engage the public and to promote the museum’s mission.    Coming up on Sunday, March 24 is the Friends of the Job Lane House Annual Meeting that will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on the third floor of the Bedford Old Town Hall on South Road. The March 24th Family Folk Chorale concert will celebrate the music of the amazing Brandi Carlile. Her music spans many genres, including folk rock, alternative country, Americana, and classic rock. Carlile received nine Grammy Awards and earned 27 Grammy nominations! The breadth of her work ranges from joyful, humanistic, poignant, personal and powerful. In response to requests for in-person meetings, the Bedford Center for the Arts event with photographer, educator and author Bobbi Lane on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 pm will be held at the previous venue, Common Room, First Parish Church in Bedford, Elm Street Entrance.  Bobbi will give a presentation and demonstration of Portraits and Flowers:  Simple techniques for effective images.  Please note that this will be an in-person event only; there will be no Zoom option and the event will not be recorded … but there will be refreshments!
