The Anatomy of Comics

Bedford Free Public Library 7 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA

Students and faculty from Boston University‘s MFA program in Visual Narrative showcase their thinking and process for creating comics, graphic novels and picture books in the latest show at the Bedford Free Public Library gallery. A reception and artist talk will take place this Sunday. Artists include program chair, Joel Christian Gill, a cartoonist and historian who speaks nationally on the importance of sharing stories. He is the author of the acclaimed memoir Fights: One Boy’s Triumph Over Violence, cited as one of the best graphic novels of 2020 by The New York Times and for which he was awarded

Bedford Special Education Parent Advisory Council - SEPAC The mission of the Bedford Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to establish better understanding of, respect for and support of special education to meet the needs of all Bedford students with disabilities. Activities include parent/guardian networking, communication with school officials, outreach to the community, state and national organizations, and sponsorship of educational forums. SEPAC meetings virtually each month over Zoom. Come and discuss special education programming in Bedford and how we can best support our children.
