Students and faculty from Boston University‘s MFA program in Visual Narrative showcase their thinking and process for creating comics, graphic novels and picture books in the latest show at the Bedford Free Public Library gallery. A reception and artist talk will take place this Sunday. Artists include program chair, Joel Christian Gill, a cartoonist and historian who speaks nationally on the importance of sharing stories. He is the author of the acclaimed memoir Fights: One Boy’s Triumph Over Violence, cited as one of the best graphic novels of 2020 by The New York Times and for which he was awarded the 2021 Cartoonist Studio Prize.

Reception-Sunday, January 28, 5-6 pm. All are welcome.
