The Art of the Automobile, photographs by Steve Edson, is on view at the Bedford Free Public Library gallery until July 12. "Form and function welded, bolted, and stitched together for speed, comfort, performance, and safety. My photographs explore the precision of bent metal and chrome to conform to the designer's vision for the efficiencies of aerodynamics combined with the beauty of timeless style." As part of the continuing Bedford Safe Campaign, the Bedford Police and Health Department's, Bedford Board of Health and the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office will host a Bedford gun buyback event on Saturday June 3, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bedford Department of Public Works (DPW), 314 the Great Road. The focus is on providing residents with a safe and secure way of removing unwanted firearms from their homes. Residents will receive a $100 Visa gift card for any firearm turned in.
