"Form and function welded, bolted, and stitched together for speed, comfort, performance, and safety. My photographs explore the precision of bent metal and chrome to conform to the designer's vision for the efficiencies of aerodynamics combined with the beauty of timeless style." Join Minuteman Senior Services in May for the Spring Forward Walk, Run & Roll!  You will have the option of completing a 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) along the route of your choice anytime from May 20 – 29, 2023.  Other than the registration fee, there is no fundraising required, however you do have the option to increase your support by setting up an individual or team fundraising page or joining a team. Reception for Art Show: Three Bedford Artists

First Parish in Bedford, Unitarian Universalist 75 The Great Rd, Bedford

On Sunday, May 21, the Gallery@First Parish invites you to attend the opening reception of the current show that features Bedford artists Nancy Daugherty, Pat Pellegrini and Nancy Willett.  The reception is from 11:30 to 1:00 in the gallery at First Parish.  Nancy Daugherty, local artist,  is showing photographs that feature silhouettes and shadows while Nancy Willett, artists and former Day Care teacher and administrator, shares with the audience her watercolors, collages and Icon.  Former teacher, now deceased, Pat Pellegrini's work consists of watercolors, pastels and acrylics all of which have not been displayed in public before now.  Both Nancy

Popular Bedford resident and charming Town Historian Sharon McDonald will be the Society’s Annual Meeting guest speaker, talking once again about another set of ancient and interesting Bedford residents, as she had done in past lecture seasons. This time, her Cast of (Nineteenth Century Historical) Characters will include abolitionist and suffragist Lucinda Hosmer, anti-vaccination doctor Emmanuel Pfeiffer, and notorious Benjamin Simonds, who left Bedford with the law on his heels.  This talk will follow the Society’s Annual Meeting and election of Directors.
