What’s Bedford Thinking: Voting

March 1, 2024

We have two elections coming up in short order. On Tuesday, there is the Presidential Primary. The two major parties’ candidates are all but guaranteed. That being said, there are 16 candidates on the ballot.

Then on Saturday, March 9, the Town Election takes place with all the races uncontested. The Citizen’s own Meredith McCulloch wrote an article on why it’s important to vote in uncontested elections.

Why Vote When There Is No Contest? It Is Important, No Contest! –  The Bedford Citizen – Feb 23, 2024

So what’s Bedford Thinking about the upcoming elections?

Will you be voting in the Presidential Primary (March 5) and/or the Bedford Town Election (March 9)?

  • I will vote or already have voted in both. (67%, 135 Votes)
  • I will vote or already have voted in the presidential primary only. (20%, 40 Votes)
  • I will not vote in either. (9%, 19 Votes)
  • I will vote or already have voted in the local election only. (4%, 8 Votes)

Total Voters: 202
