A week from Sunday is the NFL Super Bowl. Not that long ago, it was a big event around here with the Patriots appearing in nine of them since 2001. This year, not so much.
There is at least one Kansas City Chiefs flag flying around in a Bedford neighborhood, so some people do care.
This year does have some interesting storylines as well. The ‘Niners quarterback, Brock Purdy, was the very last pick in the 2022 draft, tagged with the “Mr. Irrelevant” label.
On the Chiefs side, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, star tight end Travis Kelce, is playing. Will she make the game after her concert in Tokyo the day before? That’s the big question for some.
