The Residence at Bedford collected more than 250 pounds of leftover Halloween candy to donate to Operation Shoebox, located in Florida.

Operation Shoebox supports deployed troops and their families with care packages. Arzu LeBlanc, executive director at the Residence at Bedford, packaged all the candy and shipped it this week. She said, “I am so grateful to be a part of such a supportive community. Many thanks to everybody who donated and to the students at Parker Elementary School in Billerica who donated 150 pounds of the candy we collected.”

The Residence at Bedford, located at 240 South Road, is opening in June 2024. Please get in touch and partner with LeBlanc if you have other ideas to give back.
