Page Field under the lights last Friday night was a flurry of fun activities. Even with the chill in the air, the field was buzzing with grade-grouped home run hitters, coaches, and outfield catchers.

The organization’s signature offerings of unique Bedford merchandise and raffle baskets, Mary Gallant’s arm length 50/50 raffles, and candy table were a hit with people of all ages.

The raffle prizes generously donated by sponsors ranged from a “Dine around Bedford” gift basket (Revise), free spring ball registration (BBRBS), For the Boyz haircuts and swag, a lottery scratch ticket tree, and a golf outing (Ameriprise Indelicato & Coffey), just to name a few.

Families had dinner at the field with pizzas donated by Express Pizza and sandwich wraps donated by Minuteman Diner, while a hot chocolate bar warmed up those cold hands. The scent of fresh popped popcorn ran up Loomis Street, while the pitching machine (bought from prior fundraising events) threw pitch after pitch.

Trophies and donated Bedford Farms gift cards were presented to the highest home run hitter in each age group.

BBRBS gives a warm thank you to the incredibly devoted parent group, coaches, and board members who made the event a total home run. Special thanks also go out to the awesome sponsors, donors, and players who helped make the event a success.
