Holi: A Celebration of Spring and New Beginnings
Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, is celebrated as a triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring. It brings people together to celebrate love and new beginnings through the joyous throwing of colored powders. More than just a festive event, Holi offers a sensory overload of delightful experiences including:
- Festive Music and Dance: Get immersed in South Asian culture with live performances by Bedford’s own Kadak Chai band.
- Delicious Food: Experience the taste of authentic Indian street food freshly prepared by Honest restaurant.

Sushma Raja, Vice President of SAAB, extends a warm invitation: “Holi is such a special tradition for many South Asian families. We are excited to welcome family, friends, and neighbors in Bedford and surrounding communities to join us for our second annual celebration.
