Manager Scott Wright led the Bedford age 13-15 Babe Ruth team to another successful and fun season this summer. While the team could not match their undefeated champion run of 2022, they posted a solid 8-3-1 record, outscoring opponents by 42 runs over the 12 games.

Riley Leavell-Coldwell, Jai Voleti, Liam Houde, and Teddy Hollman led the pitching staff this season, delivering some memorable performances. A number of other players also contributed to the pitching efforts this summer. Solid defense and pitching were big keys to the team’s success, holding their opponents to only 76 runs all season.

At the plate, the team collectively posted an incredible on-base percentage of over .500 and a team batting average of over .400, scoring 118 runs through 12 games.

Throughout the season, there were huge contributions from both the high school veterans and the younger players, some of whom were playing on the big diamond for the first time in their baseball careers.

The team finished solidly in second place in the Arlington Babe Ruth Summer League (behind only the Arlington “A” team, who were mostly all 15-year-old players), and unfortunately due to rain-outs and an extended season, there were no playoffs this summer.

The team was made up of Manager Scott Wright with coaches Jeremy Tate, Bobby Indeglia, and Dave Stewart. The primary roster included Derek Gallant, Will Gallant, Kieran Heid, Teddy Hollman, Liam Houde, Greyson Kordelski, Riley Leavell-Coldwell, Cam Lewis, Henry Naylor, Ryan Nelson, Matt Savage, Paul Stewart, Liam Sullivan, Ryan Tate, and Jai Voleti.
