Karin met her husband, David Sanderson, while contra-dancing at the Concord Scout House.  David and Karin spent many of their days together dancing, cooking, and enjoying nature walks. They were brought together in love and a blended family emerged.

Karin was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Savior in Bedford. Karin spent many of her hours caring for others, both in her career and in her free time.

Karin is survived by her loving husband David Sanderson, her two children, Alexa and Nicholai Roscoe, and her step-daughter, Sara Roscoe. She is also survived by her step-children, Joshua Sanderson of Seattle, WA; Beth Collins and her husband, Andrew, of Saratoga, CA; Jessica Sanderson and her husband, Chris Taylor of Hood River OR; and Sarah Watkins and her husband, Kevin, of Leonardtown, MD. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Bakari and Kayla Roscoe, Kaitlin and Connor Sanderson, Jake and Sophia Calvelli, Knox and Emma Taylor, and Morgan and Avery Watkins. She is also survived by her brother John (Carl) Williamson and his wife, Mary, of Warwick, MA, her brother Mark Williamson and his wife, Lisa, of Newburyport, MA, and her sister, Lisa Clark, of Acton. She is survived by many other family members and friends.

Karin was a peacemaker who had a love for local homemade ice cream. She enjoyed visits to the beach, reading novels and was also an avid swimmer.

Visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6 at the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd, Bedford, MA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7 at the Lutheran Church of the Savior, 426 Davis Rd., Bedford. with burial to follow at Green Cemetery in Carlisle.
