An Obituary: Judith A. Randazzo

March 26, 2024

Judith A. Randazzo, 80, of Bedford passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024 at the Care Dimensions Hospice Home in Lincoln following a week-long illness.

Judy, who was born on Nov. 22, 1943, was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothea (Miller) Civitarese of Milton. She grew up spending her summers at their family home in Scituate. Judy and her siblings remained very close over the years, and she always looked forward to their fun-filled get-togethers.

Upon graduating from Jeanne d’Arc Academy in 1961, Judy attended Wyndham Secretarial School in Boston. Following graduation, Judy worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for more than 40 years as a secretary and transcriptionist. She loved her job and the lifelong friends that she made over the years.

Judy was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at the Parish of St. Michael in Bedford. She began every day praying the Rosary. She lived a Godly life, always putting her Faith first. She was kind, compassionate, and forgiving.

She loved to travel; spending time on the beach, especially on Cape Cod and in Florida; play pickleball; watch game shows; volunteer at the Bedford COA Lunch Program; and spending time with her dogs.

Above all, she cherished time with her family. The highlight of her week was hosting Sunday family dinners for the last 25 years. Sunday dinners were filled with board games, delicious home-cooked meals, and lots of laughter. It was the best way to end one week and begin another.
