Bucs Open Busy Week with Easy Softball Win

The Bedford High School varsity softball team improved its record to 7-2 on Monday with a 23-3 victory over Cambridge Rindge & Latin in a game called after four-and-a-half innings.

Senior Coco Steele led the 19-hit attack with three doubles and also was the winning pitcher. Five other Buccaneers collected two hits apiece. The Falcons finished their five innings with two base hits.

The Bucs host Boston Latin Wednesday at 4 p.m. and then travel to Lincoln-Sudbury for a Thursday afternoon game.
