Each month the Bedford Council on Aging sends birthday wishes, thank you cards for donations, and get well cards. The COA wants to celebrate local artists by inviting residents to submit art for a greeting card competition.
The COA will choose winners in the following categories: Birthday Cards, Thank You cards, and Get Well Cards. The chosen art will be reproduced on a 5 x 7-inch card stock and should be no larger than 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
Please submit your work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Mondays – Fridays. The deadline is Friday, Feb. 24.
Winners will be announced at the Jacob Wren Throckmorton Art Show in April. Funding for the cards will be from the Jacob Wren Throckmorton Art Show Fund.
