A series of bicycle rides is planned for active seniors. All rides will start at 10 a.m. in front of the Bedford Council on Aging (COA) at the Town Center. There is a two-hour ride scheduled for Monday, April 1.

Rides are 16 to 18 miles long. Participants should be able to maintain an average pace (including hills) of at least 10 mph, and have a multi-speed bike in good condition.

Riders should be comfortable riding with traffic. The rides will stay mostly on back roads, but there will also be some time on busy roads.

After the ride, everyone is invited for coffee and snacks at the COA.

People who want to be notified about upcoming rides should send an email to Jack Donohue ([email protected]).
