April Kay Delano, age 52, of Bedford and formerly of Lynn, died on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.
Born in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Carolyn (McGinnis) Delano and step-daughter of Tom Speropolous of Chelsea, the daughter of the late Jerry Delano, and the mother of Karen Anne Butler of Bedford. She was also the sister of the late Maston Wagers who died in 2009.
April grew up in Lynn, graduated from the Tracy School and Lynn Classical High School, and then received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from St. Thomas University, Miami, FL.
She lived and worked in Bedford for the past 20 years. She was a business manager at the Bedford Department of Public Works, and enjoyed the many friends that she made there.
She liked spending time at the beach and enjoyed watching her hummingbirds come every spring on her porch.
Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a Prayer Service at 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
