The Citizen’s 2016 Fundraising Drive is underway…and yes, we are going to ask you for a donation.  But our ask is actually even bigger this year.  Three pronged, as a matter of fact.  We need you to read, write, AND support The Bedford Citizen.

If you’re reading this, you are already a follower of  The Citizen.  We work hard to ensure our coverage is reliable, complete, and timely.  Our goal is to keep you informed and connected.  If you like what you’re getting through The Citizen, tell a friend.  Or better yet, several friends.  Have a suggestion for something we can do better?  Let us know. Click here to email us.

Write

We are always looking for writers – could that be you?  We need reporters to attend the meetings of key town boards and committees, and to provide content on other happenings in town. Contact Meredith McCulloch ([email protected])  or Joan Bowen ([email protected]) for more information.

Support

It always comes down to the dollars, and we do need your financial support to keep going.  Our budget is not huge – our 2016 goal is $26,000.   We manage The Citizen tightly, but paying for our editor, writers, software and IT support is critical to our success.

Sincere thanks to those who have already donated — we are 40% of the way to our goal!  Won’t you help us to make it the rest of the way?  Please make a donation today – we are a 501(c)3 corporation, so your gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

You can click here to  donate online by making a single gift or a monthly sustainer pledge. Checks may be sent to PO Box 212, Bedford, MA 01730.

Many, many thanks for your continued support!
