If you were ever in a musical in high school or college (or other!), you remember how you treasured that musical poster or other small token you held onto to remind you of all the great memories you made.
This year, POMS is introducing “well wishes”; small tokens that can be purchased and personalized and delivered to cast and crew members of Shrek, the BHS musical, opening March 11 and running through March 14.
“We are offering small Shrek-themed rubber ducks, which people can personalize with a short note. We’ll then deliver all the little ducks backstage at intermission, to be given to the cast and crew. We think they’ll love getting a small token to know that someone in the audience sends them a special wish!” says Carol Krusemark, vice president of POMS.
Each night, there will be a different themed duck offered, including a gingerbread duck, a horse (think donkey!) duck, a princess duck, and finally, a duck that glows green in the dark for the final performance.
Sales will take place at the door, however, given that a limited amount of stock has been ordered for this first year, pre-orders are recommended. Please contact Sue Weidman at [email protected] to arrange a “well-wish” pre-order.
