The Bedford Flag on display during WWII

The Bedford Flag
The Bedford Flag has drawn attention for a long time!

The Bedford Flag was carried by Nathanial Page, as he and  the other Bedford Minutemen marched to the confrontation with the British at Concord Bridge. It is the oldest battle flag of the United States.

It may be viewed at its present location at the Bedford public library. It is housed under conditions that protect it from any deterioration.

Actually, the photo was taken in 1925. The flag was on display as part of the nation’s Sesquicentennial celebrations.
