The Bedford Historical Society’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Sharon McDonald has been elected as the Society’s new President.
Sharon is the former longtime Bedford Free Public Library children’s librarian, a member of the Friends of the Job Lane House, and a member of the Bedford Historical Society Board of Directors.
As Bedford’s Town Historian, Sharon has worked tirelessly to promote the history of Bedford through her lectures, written articles, and books about the Bedford Flag and Bedford’s rich history. She has also been actively involved in documenting artifacts and preparing displays for Bedford’s new town museum, which is located on the first floor of Old Town Hall.
Please join the Bedford Historical Society in congratulating Sharon when visiting the Museum Open House on Saturday, Dec. 2 during the Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Walkabout.
