Bedford Special Education Parent Advisory Council - SEPAC The mission of the Bedford Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to establish better understanding of, respect for and support of special education to meet the needs of all Bedford students with disabilities. Activities include parent/guardian networking, communication with school officials, outreach to the community, state and national organizations, and sponsorship of educational forums. SEPAC meetings virtually each month over Zoom. Come and discuss special education programming in Bedford and how we can best support our children. Stop Private Jet Expansion in Massachusetts Webinar

Join Bill McKibben (Third Act) & Neil Rasmussen (Save Our Heritage) and others who are fighting to prevent a major Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom – or Anywhere -- for an informational webinar on the climate impacts of the proposed expansion. Neil Rasmussen, president of Save Our Heritage, will present thought-provoking recent research on the impacts of the proposed development on state and municipal Climate Goals.  Bill McKibben, internationally recognized Climate Change expert and activist, will address why he calls Hanscom a  “zombie project from the fossil fuel era.”

Democratic Caucus and Town Committee Meeting

On Thursday June 15th at 7 PM, Democrats will convene virtually to choose 9 delegates and 4 alternates to represent Bedford at the 2023 State Democratic Convention. Registered and pre-registered Democrats in Bedford 16 years old by May 23, 2023 may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (age 16 to 35), people with disabilities, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting massdems.org/massdems-convention. The 2023 Convention will be in person at the Tsongas
