Registration is open now for The Bedford High School Relay for Life Committee’s K-5 Kids Night Out from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at Davis School. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. The $35 registration fee also covers crafts, supervised gym/game time, pizza, snacks, and water. Register early - the fee increases to $45 on Saturday, March 16. The event includes crafts, games, and lots of fun activities planned for children in grades K-5. Everyone is welcome to any of the gatherings, though please note that each school’s Principal will be attending their respective school gatherings and the Boston gathering may feature gourmet flavors!

The Bedford Public Schools’ Integrated Preschool Program invites neighborhood children who will be three years old by August 31, 2023, to a screening for possible enrollment. Screenings will be conducted at the Davis School on Friday, February 3, 2023. An appointment is required. The Parents Diversity Council and BEST PTO invite families to meet former Davis Kindergarten teacher, Vera Ahiyya, author of the brand new book, You Have a Voice! Ms. Ahiyya will be the Author in Residence at Davis on May 2 and 3. The evening of May 2, she will be able to meet with parents and families. She will make a brief presentation, read her book, and have time for Q and A and book signings.
