Saturday, November 4th | 2:00PM - 4:00PM John Glenn Middle School Back Parking Lot The goal is for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy smashing pumpkins for compost. Through this fun activity, we hope to educate and promote the importance and benefits of composting food waste--for food, for healthier soils, and for our climate. The Bedford Council on Aging is sponsoring a Mothers Out Front presentation on the climate impact of the proposed expansion at Massport’s Hanscom Field for private jets. Learn about the environmental cost of private jet travel and why Mothers Out Front thinks it important to Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere. The Council on Aging (COA) is located in the Town Center building, 12 Mudge Way, Bedford (enter on side of building w/big parking lot, not the side w/circular drive).
