The goal is for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy smashing pumpkins for compost. Through this fun activity, we hope to educate and promote the importance and benefits of composting food waste–for food, for healthier soils, and for our climate. Bring any pumpkins or gourds that are clean of wax and non-food safe materials.
