Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free Trail Walk.
Description: We will meet at the Bedford Library rear parking lot, then caravan or carpool to the trail head at Lantern Lane. From there, we will walk through the Wilderness Park conservation area, over to Fawn Lake, loop around the Lake, then walk back using somewhat different trails. If time permits, we might continue on beyond Fawn Lake, up the railroad bed toward Lane School, and explore side trails before heading back.
The mostly flat walk is about 4 miles long and will last about 2 to 3 hours at a comfortable pace.
When and We meet at 9:45 AM in the parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public
Where: Library (7 Mudge Way).
Leader: Dan Hurwitz, Bedford Trails Committee
Notes: We will walk rain or shine. The trail is very rocky and rooty. Portions may be wet and muddy. Dress appropriately. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Remember to protect yourself from ticks.
