The Rotary Clubs of Bedford and Concord have teamed up to pack meals for the hungry and food insecure right here in Massachusetts in the Hope for the Hungry event on April 27th.  This year, we’re partnered with Meals of Hope, a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) that is committed to bringing people together to fight the hunger epidemic. Hope for the Hungry relies on volunteer participation to package meals and help the event run smoothly. It’s fun for people of all ages, individuals, families, work colleagues, and club and organization members. Sponsorships, both corporate and individual, are immediate priorities. To meet our target of packaging 50,000 meals, we’re still short of the funding needed. Any donation, no matter how large or small, will go a long way toward making our effort possible.
