Bedford Town Trail Walk
Beuhler Pond / Gov. Winthrop Conservation Areas

Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free walk around the Beuhler Pond and Governor Winthrop Conservation Areas.
The walk will be slow-paced, 1 to 2 hours duration.
We will start and finish the walk in the parking lot next to the playground of the of the Job Lane School (although the actual meet-up location is still behind the Bedford Library).
We will explore the trails around the Beuhler Ponds with their old cement water structures.
We will then cross the Narrow Gauge Rail Trail over to the Governor Winthrop Conservation area, where we will walk over to Springs Road and back. Along the way we will check out the vernal pool in the adjacent Hayden Highlands Conservation Area.

We will walk regardless of the weather – rain, snow, or shine.
The walk will cover trails that may be rough, uneven, hilly, muddy, snowy or icy. (This is New England in December!) Please wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes or boots that can handle wet, ice or snow, as appropriate for the weather.
