The Bedford Garden Club will be at Bedford Day at the Town Hall on Mudge Way, Bedford. Booths open at 10 until 2 pm.  We have fall mums, asters, fall-blooming perennials (such as sneezeweed and sedum); indoor plants grown by Club members; six hand-decorated pumpkins; Mason Jar flower arrangements, the Club’s note cards, some humorous, wooden garden signs (such as “I Wet My Plants” and “Weeds for Sale”).  This year will be the free “pot-a-plant” endeavor to teach Bedford children about the importance of gardening.

The Raffle items are generous, Golf for 4 with carts at Bedford VA Hospital Golf Course, valued at $200.  Gift cards from Wegman’s, Pepper’s Grill and the Great Wall restaurants, McCue’s Nursery in Billerica, and New England Nursery.  Our President Patty has donated a Hydrangea plant (value up to $100).
