This week begins Bedford’s paving program for calendar year 2024.
The work proposed for the year is summarized on the map [above]. Please note that it is subject to change, however, it is more likely that a road will be removed from the list rather than added.
Weather permitting, the first phase of work will start this week and run into early May with the second phase beginning in July and running into September. At other times there may be minor work happening but none typically requiring road delays or detours.
In the first phase, roads will be reclaimed (pulverized and repaved) in the order of: Ledgewood Drive, Lido Lane, Bandera Drive, and Princess Pine Drive. This work is currently scheduled to be finished the first week in May.
Roads will be open to emergency vehicles and buses during construction but residents should expect periodic delays.
