Bedford Recreation Kids’ Club Summer and School Year Registration Opens on April 1

April 1, 2024

Submitted by the Bedford Recreation Department

Bedford Recreation Kids’ Club is excited to announce the opening of membership for the 2024-2025 summer and school year at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 1.

Membership qualifies your child for all Kids’ Club programs from the first day of Summer Fun 2024 (scheduled to start June 24) through the last day of school in 2025. Children entering Kindergarten may begin attending Kids’ Club during the summer on or after their 5th birthday.

Kids’ Club is nearly three decades old, and during that time has grown from a two-room program in the Town Center to a multi-site program with a license for up to 246 children. The staff of more than 40 group leaders and administrators provides a year-round warm and nurturing environment for learning and play during before- and after-school hours, teacher professional days, school vacations, and all summer long.

Kids’ Club is open Mondays through Fridays every week of the year with the exception of Town holidays. The K-2 students are bussed from Davis School to the Town Center Building on Mudge Way each day after school, and students in Grades 3-5 have programming at Lane School from dismissal until 6 p.m.

Children play, draw, create, recreate, socialize, play gaga, dance, build, do homework, and more, every day under the care and guidance of the staff.

Kids’ Club looks forward to another banner year in 2024-25 full of friendships, happy memories, and good times.

Any new families interested in membership for next year should click on this link and complete a short intake form.

All current families have received instructions on how to renew membership for next year.

Once someone is a member, they will be eligible to register for Kids’ Club care when registration opens.

Summer Fun registration will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22 and School Year 2024-25 registration, including care during school vacations and Teacher Professional Days, will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20. All registration forms are available on the Kids’ Club website.

If you have any questions, please contact the Kids’ Club office at 781-275-5427 or [email protected].

Kids’ Club is administered by the Town of Bedford Recreation Department, licensed by the Massachusetts Office of Early Education and Care, and accredited by The National School-Age Care Alliance in 2002.
