Family Folk Chorale Celebrates Brandi Carlile with March 24 Concert

Three Bedford residents will be performing as part of The Family Folk Chorale this month.

The Family Folk Chorale will celebrate the music of Brandi Carlile with a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at Arlington Town Hall. Her music spans many genres, including folk rock, alternative country, Americana, and classic rock.

Carlile received nine Grammy Awards and earned 27 Grammy nominations. The breadth of her work ranges from joyful, humanistic, poignant, personal, and powerful. It is a great artistic fit for the broad palette of Family Folk Chorale voices and instruments.

“Brandi Carlile’s music is rooted in tradition and you can hear the influence from some of the greatest songwriters of the past century; Lennon/McCartney, The Indigo Girls, Joni Mitchell, Elton John. She expresses in fresh ways much needed and timeless messages of love, connection, joy and humanity,” said Artistic Director Chris Eastburn.
