This announcement was sent by the Tax Collector’s office regarding excise tax bills:
Previously, residents had to search for their excise tax bill in the town’s system by adding leading zeros to the bill number in order to create a six-digit number. This process has been changed so that residents may now complete their search by using the bill number, bill year, and license plate number. The Collector’s Office “hopes that residents will have an easier time fulfilling this obligation with this new, more intuitive process.”
Also, as part of this update, residents are now able to view excise tax bills online and download them as .pdf files for their records.
