Goss Leads BHS Fall Sports Honorees

Several Bedford High School student-athletes have been recognized for their performances during the 2023 fall campaign.

Leading the honorees was boys’ soccer junior midfielder Spencer Goss, named Dual County League Player-of-the-Year and, for the second year, an Eastern Massachusetts Soccer Coaches Association All-Star.

Recognized as DCL all-conference players, encompassing small and large schools, were Maya Billings and Madison DePerna – field hockey; Sean Morrison – soccer; and Dylan Lykins and Shamus Miller – football.

DCL Foley Division League All-Stars are Ava Derderian – field hockey; Cassie Morrison – girls’ soccer; Carleigh Orr and Shriya Raut – volleyball; Miles Herzog, Leo Natalizio, and Sawyer Elliot – boys’ soccer; Johnny Garraway, Addie Poulter, and Samantha Sheahan – cross country; Katie Schmidt – cheer; and Ricky LaBoy and Chase Brazee – football.

Ryan Capobianco represented the golf team in the state tournament as well as the DCL medalist tournament, along with Charles Demeo and John Campos.

The Athletic Department reported that 366 BHS student-athletes participated in nine sports at 17 levels.
