Enjoy a fantastic fall weekend event while supporting a great cause by joining the 11th annual Pam’s Run on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Pam’s Run is a 5K or 10K walk/run/roll/stroll on a beautiful course through the neighborhoods around Claypit School in Wayland. The chip-timed race benefits the non-profit Neighbor Brigade and includes a Kids’ Fun Run, race shirts for early registration, food, raffles, cash prizes, and more.

Amy Mason, Chapter Leader of the Bedford Neighbor Brigade since 2010, invites the public to join or donate to the Bedford Neighbor Brigade team to participate at Pam’s Run next month, or to consider a sponsorship of the event. Mason said Pam’s Run is a beautiful event “in memory of Neighbor Brigade’s founder and my dear friend Pam Washek,” and she would love to see everyone there!

Neighbor Brigade is a non-profit mobilizing local volunteers to assist neighbors going through a temporary crisis with everyday tasks. This includes volunteers performing help such as delivering meals, providing rides to medical appointments, walking dogs, running errands, or mowing lawns while neighbors undergo cancer treatments, recover from surgery or accidents, deal with the loss of a family member, or cope with other unexpected situations.
