Job Lane Farm Museum Family Field Day is Coming Up!

August 21, 2023

Submitted by Friends of Job Lane House

Step back in time for a delightful afternoon of family fun at Bedford’s colonial Job Lane Farm Museum!

Take a tour of the house and barn. Watch a demonstration by a Minuteman Company.  Learn about colonial trades and crafts.  Get up close to farm animals at Farmer’s Helpers petting zoo; play with stilts, rolling hoops, and other old-time toys and games.  Help make hand-cranked ice cream (and enjoy some Bedford Farms ice cream afterward).  Go on a scavenger hunt.  Hear a talk about herbs in our herb garden.  Help operate a cider press.  Dip a candle.  Enjoy a live guitar singer.  Bring your own picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
