Chief John Fisher is pleased to announce that the Bedford Police Department will host a National Night Out this August.

WHAT:
The Bedford Police Department will host a National Night Out community event designed to promote partnerships between public safety departments and the community.
Residents will be able to participate in fun activities including a dunk tank, a trackless train for kids, and more.
During the “Touch a Truck” event, residents will have the opportunity to explore public safety equipment provided by the Bedford Police and Fire departments, Boston MedFlight, Veterans Affairs Police, NEMLEC, Bedford Public Works, and Riggio Auto Repair Inc.
Demonstrations will be performed by the Bedford Police K-9 Unit, and the Bedford Fire Department, which will be using hydraulic tools to cut through a car.
The Bedford Fire Department will offer car seat safety checks for residents.
Refreshments will be provided by local businesses, including Steve’s Pizza, Bedford Cupcakes, Holi, Whole Foods, Energy Plus Nutrition, and more. Other businesses that plan on participating are Revise Inc. and Learning Express Toys and Play.
