The next performance of Middlesex Community College’s Spring 2023 “A World of Music” concert series will feature new faculty member Jeannette Lee. The performance will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 at MCC’s Concert Hall in Bedford.

Lee, mezzo soprano, will sing works by Johann Sebastian Bach, which evoke a variety of emotions and feelings. Arias from his “Saint Matthew’s Passion” and various cantatas will be featured. She will be joined by flutist Matthew Lee and friends.

“Bach’s music has the power to reach all facets of humanity so we hope this selection of varying moods can speak to wherever you are in your life at the moment,” Lee said. “We hope this will be a transformative experience into acceptance for you when you attend.”
