The Conservation Commission’s January 9 agenda included discussion of a beaver dam above the Springs Brook Bridge on Old Billerica Road.
Several residents who had been watching this with interest for several weeks were in attendance, bringing photographs.
The Department of Public Works had taken the dam out twice and each time it had been rebuilt within 24 hours.
As there was no consensus on whether the dam was causing immediate damage the matter will be referred to a beaver control consultant that the town has used in the past.
