The Bedford Fire Department went out of their way once again to help out the citizens of this town during yesterday’s Summer Walkabout.
A big cluster of balloons lodged way up in one of the trees needed some extra leverage in order for a long handled pole to be able to reach them. The department brought in one of their rescue trucks so one of the men could climb up on top and reach the trapped cluster.
It was a successful rescue, everyone cheered, and all the kids got a free balloon. Nice job, Bedford Fire Deprtment!
