The Citizen is looking for candidates for the position of Community Editor.
Deadline for all applications, which can be submitted via email to Ginni Spencer at [email protected], is October 15. It is the intention of The Citizen to make a selection by November 1.
Applications can be a standard resume with a cover letter, or a letter alone explaining your interest and outlining your professional and/or volunteer experience. The Citizen will pay a stipend for this position.
We’re looking for someone with great communication skills, an appreciation of Bedford (local candidates preferred), and computer fluency. Initially, the focus will be on training users and promoting the use of BeTC, our new Bedford Town Calendar. We will train you on software you may not know. You can work from home for the most part (you must provide your own computer) and we estimate the weekly commitment to be about 10 hours.
